Founded in Reghin, till 1986 the factory had the name of
IPL, and till 1990 the name of IFET. In 1991 the firm was privatized
and the name changed into PROLEMN S.A.
- In 1998, the Turkish company Kastamonu Entegre bought 98%
of the shares, which is member of HAYAT HOLDING - Biggest
Turkish group in wood industry
- A complete technical renewal took place, what changed totally
the old technical facilities of the factory.
- In the present the firm is working with about 750 employees
on a surface of approximate 35 Hectares.
- Including the
replacement of the timber factory’s saw system with a modern
multi - blade system, the endowment
with modern
dryers, modernization of the old Blockboard plant,
replacement of the Chipboard factory with a new Plywood plant
- ...all ending up in the final result: our products meet
quality, perfection and esthetic.
