orientation. In order to tell S C PROLEMN S A being one of the important
member of Kastamonu Entegre Group we should mention history
of Kastamonu Entegre A. S. KASTAMONU ENTEGRE GROUP is a successful and appreciated group
in Turkey and in the World ,which has the basic values of providing
customers satisfaction with best quality products and timing,
investing newest technology and products and making no concession
of quality of its products. Thats why Kastamonu Entegre has
become a leader company which has two worldwide scaled productive
company in Turkey and two abroad. let`s have a closer look at the milestones of this company`s
history, which is full of success... Year 1969, Kastamonu Entegre
A.ª. was established in Istanbul. Year 1971,Kastamonu Entegre
entered the sector by founding its first Chipboard Production
Plant in Kastamonu city. Year 1975,the second Chipboard
Production Facility was installed in Kastamonu,and the production
capacity of the company was increased.Veneer Production Facility
also started its production in the same year.The facilities
installed in Kastamonu were continuously renovated with new
technologies through investments made in time in view of developing
and changing needs.Our YONGAPAN and YONGALAM products are produced
at our Kastamonu plant at the highest level of quality. Year 1979, the first Short Cycle
Press,Veneer Press and Timber Production Lines were constructed
in Kastamonu. Year 1990,these are the years
of investment for Gebze Integrated facilities.The investments
are diverted into new areas and the facilities are totally
modernized.Veneer and Timber Lines in Kastamonu were modernized
and moved to Gebze. Year 1991, the first Impregnation
Plant Investment was completed in Kastamonu. Year 1992, the first continious
MDF Production Plant of Turkey that was an important investment
for both our company and country became operational.As another
first in Turkey and in the World a Cogenaration system was
established in our Gebze plant.Later the Glue Production Plant.Melamine
Impregnation Line were founded. Year 1994, Third Short Cycle
Press was started production in Gebze. Year 1998, Kastamonu Entegre
started its new investments abroad,At first S.C Prolemn S.A
Company was bought from Privatization Administration of Romania.The
block board,Timber production and drying lines in our plant
in Romania were renewed and constructed. Year 1999, FOORPAN Laminated
Flooring investment was completed and started production.Later,Massive
Panel and Profil Lines became operational in Gebze.In our Gebze
Plant which is established on a 400 acres of land, production
of many products that one uses in furniture production besides
that of MEDEPAN, MEDELAM,YONGAPAN,YONGALAM, FLOORPAN, MASIFPAN,
MEDEKAP,YONGAKAP products is continuing with success. Year 2000, Gabrovnitsa A.D plants
in the Kazanlik Region of Bulgaria was bought.In 2001,the investments
made to Gabrovnitsa Plant were completed and production of
YONGAPAN and YONGALAM products with a first class quality concept
started as a result. Year 2001, The 2nd Impregnation
Line in Gebze and Plywood production facility in Romania Plant
which is the only door panel facility in the Continential Europe. Year 2003, The investment of
II. MDF line which was planned in 2002 has already been completed
and begun to produce with full capacity. Let's have a closer look to S.C. PROLEMN
S.A. S.C. PROLEMN S.A. founded at
1991. It was emerged by division of IFET (Intreprinderea
Forestiera de Exploatare si Transport - Forestry, Harvesting & Transport
Enterprise) four companies for the purpose of pravitization. S.C. PROLEMN S.A. was bought
from Romanian Privatization Authority by the Turkish company KASTAMONU
ENTEGRE A.S. New management made a investment program and started right
after, by modernizing some of the existing lines, such as:
chipboard factory, timber and blockboard plant, implementation
of a new plywood plant (2000),
automated steaming & drying chambers, keeping on to fructify
experience & tradition with altogether its employees. Beside these, Managing Board decided to do a unique investment
in Continental Europe. In 1999 started building up the DOORSKIN plant.
Moulded Doorskin is very common in USA and South-Eastern Asia
in the last 10 years. There is only one similar plant in Europe,
settled in Ireland. DOORSKIN plant started production
in middle of November 2001. Being equipped with last generation
high-tech machines and automations.It has well educated ,experienced
and qualified stuff. The plant produces full quality Door skins . Conformal to
international market’s needs, production line was planned for
two presses, so after a few months the company will start to
build up one more press parallel to the existing one, by this
increasing the capacity to double. Using wood pieces, Urea-Formaldehyde, Paraffin wax and very
small quantity of Ammonium sulfate as raw materials, the technology
is environmental-friendly and does not cause any pollution. S.C. PROLEMN S.A. as being one
of the biggest subsidiary of Kastamonu
Entegre A.S. keeps on its production,marketing and selling
activities considering to satifying fully its customers need
and wants by producing high quality products. For this purpose
S.C. Prolemn S.A. proved its customer oriented strategy by
having ISO 9001 certicate in 2003 August.
